The Clear Sky Evening

The great Hercules Cluster

Astrophoto M13 Great Hercules Cluster Clear Sky 17.
An evening full of distance tests for my new flattener TSFlat2. I was not very successfull. Some of the testimages were used to stack this image of M13.
But there was one milestone i reached.

Here is the result:

M13 - Great Hercules Cluster
A photo made from testexposures to find the correct flattener distance.

Lessons Learned

1st thing learned: Configuring flattener distance is pain in the a**! I did not finish that this evening!

2nd thing learned: Successfully used platesolving with my equipment and EKOS. This saves me so much time and so many NERVES!
