I found some unused material from M45 while reorganizing my data. The data is from 2021, the telescope has long since been sold, and I first reprocessed it in 2023, then revised it again in 2025 using a new workflow.
The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, is an open star cluster located in the constellation Taurus, approximately 410 light-years from Earth, reaching its annual culmination at astronomical midnight at the end of November.
Pleiades, again. This time with a lot more exposure time.
The second deep-sky object I had the chance to marvel at was the Pleiades.
Is there any better way to start this hobby than with the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades?
