Pleiades, Dec’25

My final project of 2025.
I also used an exciting combination of technologies here.
A successful test for the future?

Merope Nebula – vdB 22

The Merope Nebula is a reflection nebula associated with the star Merope in the Pleiades star cluster, located in the constellation Taurus approximately 400 light-years away from Earth. It reaches its annual culmination at astronomical midnight in late November.

Maia Nebula – vdB 21

The Maia Nebula is a reflection nebula associated with the star Maia in the Pleiades star cluster, located in the constellation Taurus approximately 400 light-years away from Earth. It reaches its annual culmination at astronomical midnight in late November.

Electra Nebula – vdB 20

Electra, also known as vdB 20, is a reflection nebula associated with a blue-white giant star located in the constellation Taurus, approximately 400 light-years away from Earth. It reaches its annual culmination at astronomical midnight in late November.

Pleiades, Dec’21

I found some unused material from M45 while reorganizing my data. The data is from 2021, the telescope has long since been sold, and I first reprocessed it in 2023, then revised it again in 2025 using a new workflow.

Mars and Pleiades, Jan’23

A reprocessed astrophoto with Mars and Pleiades using an Olympus legacy lens.

Messier 45 – Pleiades

The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters, is an open star cluster located in the constellation Taurus, approximately 410 light-years from Earth, reaching its annual culmination at astronomical midnight at the end of November.

Pleiades, Mar’21

Pleiades, again. This time with a lot more exposure time.

Pleiades, Feb’21

The second deep-sky object I had the chance to marvel at was the Pleiades.
Is there any better way to start this hobby than with the Orion Nebula and the Pleiades?
