Messier 27 – Dumbbell Nebula
The Dumbbell Nebula (Messier 27) is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula, located approximately 1,360 light years away from Earth and reaches its annual culmination at astronomical midnight in the 2nd half of July.
In the course of reprocessing, the Dumbbell Nebula M27 is in focus today. This planetary nebula was my first serious deep-sky object with the VIXEN Cassegrain.
