As part of the astronomy club at Johannes-Gymnasium Lahnstein, Mars had already been in focus through the 4000mm Ritchey-Chrétien telescope. My planetary camera was only briefly used there.
Next up was Jupiter. The gas giant was well positioned in the sky, so I took the opportunity to capture it with my planetary camera. Despite the short recording time, impressive details of its cloud bands and the famous Great Red Spot were captured.
