One of my results of comet ZTF C/2022 E3 in february 2022. I like the bright greenish color of this version.

UV/IR cut filter – yes or no – a guiding example

Guiding without UV/IR cut filter, with UV/IR cut filter and under very good conditions.
Upper left: Guiding WITHOUT UV/IR cut filter. Upper right: Guiding WITH UV/IR cut filter. Lower center: Guiding WITH UV/IR cut filter and very good balance and seeing.

Is it necessary to use an UV/IR cut filter? If yes, is this something you can really see in your results?

Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) - I am still quite happy with the result. Especially considering the weather conditions and the short time frame in the morning hours.

I used a short clear time frame in the morging hours to capture comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF).
