The image is the result of two consecutive crystal-clear nights in early March 2025.
Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to spend a fantastic night at the Hoher List Observatory site, allowing my camera on the apo to diligently collect photons throughout the entire night.
In line with the experiences of the previous months, I equipped my Baader apo that evening exclusively with the Baader luminance filter – and off it went. A truly wonderful night with great results.
The following evening, I was back home under my suburban sky. Conditions were good again, so I was able to capture the three RGB channels there.
I’m really extremely satisfied with the result.
