The two clear nights in a row were not really forecast. In fact, there were some thin high clouds, but even so, these two nights were a real bright spot after many weeks of poor conditions – especially since we were close to the new moon.
While planning in Stellarium, this Shrimp Nebula, Sharpless 188, immediately caught my eye.
I chose the combination of the VC200L + flattener + EOS R.
To be honest, this is currently the only setup that lets me use my OSC on the VISAC without any extra effort. For using it at the native focal length, I still need a few adapters.
