Messier 81 and surroundings in widefield!
Luminance captured at Hohen List, RGB taken earlier in Koblenz.
6h20m total exposure – a great showcase of what this scope-camera combo can do.

The 2024 workflow on the nicely framed Bodes-, Cigar- and Garland-Galaxy picture from 2022. The details are much clearer, especially on the Cigar Galaxy.
The Cigar Galaxy is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major, located about 15.9 million light-years away, and reaches its annual culmination at astronomical midnight and is best observed mid February.
Bode’s and Cigar Galaxy, two well known Galaxies on the spring sky. I really like the result for only 30 minutes total exposure.
