Astrophoto: Needle Galaxy – Caldwell 38 – 05/24

After a long time without any chance to make use of the galaxy season I was able to capture my 1st set of photons coming right out of the Needle Galaxy.

It was a strange and really not a perfect evening for astrophotography. My HEQ5 seems to have a slight backlash again. I was still able to capture some lights, but at the cost of poorer than usual guiding performance with something arount 1″.
