Astrophoto: Jupiter – 11/01/2022

When there is a 1st Saturn with a planetary camera in 2022, there is also a Jupiter.

My first Jupiter (sorry for copy/paste error) with a dedicated planetary camera. In my eyes a huge step forward.

Saturn with some luck to get a few minutes between the clouds.

I had a sky full of faint clouds. I had enough time to get a photo between them.

Jupiter a few days after opposition.

After endless struggling with my QHY, I decided to shoot Jupiter with my EOS.

Clouds. Week after week! At the beginning of August i had to try Jupiter and Saturn at the same day. Even with bad seeing conditions.

Even before attempting deep-sky photography, I tried my hand at Mars. It’s hard to believe how decent this first result turned out to be.
