Clouds. Week after week! At the beginning of August i had to try Jupiter and Saturn at the same day. Even with bad seeing conditions.
The available data are not the best. Nevertheless, the step to use a flattener was very important for me.
A photo that is not worth this awesome cluster. A picture out ouf test shots while configuring flattener distance. But i achieved a different milestone.
At CS number 16 started something completely new. I shot with a piggyback camera. This evening was a horrortrip, at least i came out with something to show.

Bode’s and Cigar Galaxy, two well known Galaxies on the spring sky. I really like the result for only 30 minutes total exposure.
As a beginner in astrophotography there comes the day, when you stumble on dithering. And it is worth using it.
